Board members of ECC 2013 project expressed full support to the implementation team at the third board meeting on October 17th. The board headed by the Mayor of Košice Mr. Knapík, consists of the representatives of universities, churches and the ecumenical movement, minorities, cultural institutions, as well as economic, social, and cultural arena of the city.

They introduced investment projects, budgets, and the final program of the event. Marek Kolárčík, project team manager, commented briefly, that we should find out, apparently even before Christmas, whether Košice qualified for the second round of the ECC 2013 title.

The board consented to proceed in line with the presentations. Board members raised weighty arguments with neither the investment nor the project program.

Project team presented the board with its goals and ECC 2013 project vision, as well as investment projects and budgets. Project board members approved further continuation of the project and they expressed full support.

Director of the State Theater of Košice declared : " I think we are making headway. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the presentation materials, their design, and esthetic aspects".

New chancellors of Košice universities were present at the board meeting as well.
