Peter Bič Project gave a great gig

In the late hours of Saturday the band Peter Bič Project pleased its fans – with songs from their old album as well as new ones. The evening passed off in a great atmosphere. The band started the concert at exactly 21.00 and really got things going in the club – people had a great time, dancing and singing. There was a large number of fans and the club was packed. “We played pretty much everything. We usually play a few covers, we have a lot of them, but today I thought it would be a special gig where we play as few covers as possible – there were only three of them in the end – and the rest were our songs. It is very nice that people still don’t know the songs from the new CD and so they are pleased to have fun with us,” said band leader Peter Bič.

One of the newest songs, yet already very popular, “Say it loud”, was the last number and the band has also filmed a video clip to go with it at Bratislava airport. The song is the final one from their debut album, “Say it loud”, which was christened at the Loft Club in Bratislava. The new song on the radio has replaced their first major hit “Hey Now”. The album was created last year. “We did it with Martin Hudák, who made us the video for Hey Now. We left it all up to him. Martin, along with director Martin Grof, thought up the idea of going to the airport to record the video. We shot it all day – maybe twelve hours. I think it turned out very well. It was harder for us to film it because we were shooting outside, not inside, and we had to jump, run, get changed … There is a lot of space at the airport and the director made us do everything possible, which came into his head. We were excited for about a minute, but then it was really very difficult,” said band leader Peter Bič.

Peter was proud of Saturday’s concert: “It was a great gig today, brutally perfect energy, full of people, a full club. They added an awful lot for us. I admit that we didn’t have the strength to go on, but it was the perfect power from the people towards us. We are trying to give them as much as possible and it was really cool,” Peter said with a wide smile. When leaving the concert we stopped a fan of the band: “The concert was fantastic. I think there were an awful lot of events today and we chose the best,” commented Jana – coincidentally the wife of Peter Bič. Saturday’s concert also confirmed that the Košice group has found fans not only in Slovakia and near its borders, but also overseas.
