The Jazz FOR SAle international jazz festival is the second oldest festival in Slovakia and will celebrate its 23rd anniversary in 2013. In terms of dramaturgy, it orientates towards the presentation of interpreters from the Visegrad group: Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia. It consists of three concerts performed at weekly intervals, presenting top interpreters and ensembles as well as comparing the level, status and trends in development in this area in all the attending countries, focusing upon type and genre diversity. Each concert is a unique opportunity and stimulus for budding jazz musicians
whose development is mainly influenced by the possibility for direct contact with quality interpreters and is therefore an impulse for the development of the jazz scene in the region.
