This is a festival about the history and beauty of the Košice suburbs organised within the occasion of „Days of European Cultural Heritage“. Together with inhabitants from sections of the city, we shall present the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of the suburbs with the aim of supporting alternative and sustainable forms of creative tourism. During the last regime, there were several sculptures created and placed in public areas of Košice West which we are going to signpost and make visible via a publication with a map. We are preparing a suburban fujara concert next to the Memorial of Folklore Architecture. Within the Open Garden event, we will make the first community garden accessible in Košice. On Sunday (15 September 2013), the „European Week of Mobility“ shall officially commence and therefore, we will use the areas under the bridge in the KVP suburb to present a new City Sports Club and organise a market for organisations together with a cultural programme.
