In the open air on a podium in Hlavná Street in Košice, the Pentapolitana towns will present their best music groups, arts ensembles and events by their cultural institutions in a programme called The Best of Pentapolitana. A gala programme in the afternoon and early evening hours will be supported by accompanying events from individual towns. An exhibition of works by Master Paul of Levoča together with a seminar on the significance ofMasterPaul‘sworks, anexhibitionoflarge photographs called Pentapolitana Churches by Peter Župník and a theatre performance by pupils from the PrimaryBoarding SchoolforBlind andVisually Impaired Children will be the core of the events in Levoča. Prešov will introduce the Slovak Liverpool project, Sabinov will present the Oscar Night programme, and Bardejov an evening called Mysteries and an exhibition about wooden churches in theNorth East of Slovakia and a seminar about Leonard Stöckel. The project entitled Historic Villages of Košice about historic folk customs and culture in the village boroughs of Košice will be represented in the Pentapolitana Days by the city of Košice.
