Weekend of Design and Fashion
A Weekend of Design and Fashion is taking place in the East Slovakia Gallery within the ECOC 2013 Opening Ceremony. Here, space was given to students of Faculties of Arts and budding fashion designers as well as collections from renowned brand names such as Novestashoes and the experienced Izabela Komjati.

You can find the answers to these and many other questions at the Mobilfest festival which is being held under the auspices of Private High School of Art (PHSA) on Petzvalova 2, and which began on Saturday in Galeria Shopping Centre in the presence of the president of the project, Marián Čekovský.
Designers create works like artists
Design has been presented in Košice in all its glory. It has been proved that the home can be turned into art. The weekend of design and fashion hit the public with light of modern lamps. Molecules and atoms are converted into home products and were made into original jewellery on the spot for those interested.
Several musical ensembles performed in Café Slávia today
On Saturday, well known Café Slávia was made accessible to visitors especially because of the ECOC 2013 Opening Ceremony. Many people came to listen to music performed by students and graduates of the Košice Conservatoire on Timonova Street. The beginning belonged to the COMBO KONZERVATÓRIA musical ensemble.
A concert by the Jana Bezek Trio was rewarded by multiple applause
Late afternoon on Saturday, the Puppet Theatre in Košice was completely full. Several events with the aim of strengthening the Polish-Slovak cultural relationship took place there. Cooperation with our northern neighbour in the musical field was also represented by the Jana Bezek jazz Trio.

The Faculty of Arts of the Technical University in Košice presented contemporary art to the wide public. Installations, photographs, images and other works were admired by people in Strojárenská Street.
The Tape Košice installation made out of adhesive tape attracted children and their families
The work of art by foreign artists (the Austrian Christoph Katzler, the Croat Nikol Radeljkovic and the German Sven Jonke) attracted several young families to the University Library of the Technical University (TU) in Košice this morning. The three artists prepared their site-specific installation, which is their thirteenth to date. They have also created works of art inMoscow and Bucarest, for example.
